Pond and Waterfall Plumbing Fitting

The Atlantic Water Gardens 1.5-inch Schedule 40 adapter is a standard plumbing transition fitting for connecting Sch.40 PVC pipe to pump barbs, check valves, filter inlets, or other water feature fittings that use a different connection interface. Schedule 40 PVC is the most common pipe used in pond and waterfall installations for its balance of wall thickness, pressure rating, and affordability — and this adapter provides the transition point needed when mixing standard PVC pipe with proprietary pump fittings or manifold components.

Application

Use wherever a 1.5-inch plumbing run meets a fitting that requires an adapter at the transition — for example, connecting a 1.5-inch PVC discharge pipe to a fountain basin bulkhead, a waterfall stream pipe to a skimmer outlet, or a pump discharge barb to a rigid PVC run. The adapter uses standard Sch.40 dimensions for compatibility with any standard PVC cement fitting or slip connection in the same size class.

Material

Injection-moulded from UV-resistant, chlorine-stable PVC for long service life in pond and water feature applications. Rated for the pressures encountered in typical residential fountain and waterfall pump installations.
