The RP50 piston compressor runs continuously through the pond season. Over two to three years, its valve discs, piston rings, and gaskets wear and air output drops. This maintenance kit bundles all the wear components for the RP50 (also designated 72R) in one package, so you can restore the compressor to full output capacity without sourcing individual parts. Performing this service annually prevents mid-season output failures.

How to Service
Unplug and disconnect the compressor from airline before disassembly. Follow the RP50 service manual for disassembly sequence. Replace all kit components even if individual parts appear serviceable. Wear is often not visible until failure. Reassemble, restart, and measure output at the diffuser against your pre-service baseline. A well-maintained RP50 should restore close to original output after this service.
Fits the Airmax RP50 (72R) 1/2 HP piston compressor only. Not compatible with the KA20 or KA40 diaphragm aerator series.
