Aquascape Aquagarden Mini Pond Pump With Low Suction

$58.39

Provide Reliable Gentle Circulation in Small Patio Ponds

The Aquascape AquaGarden Mini Pond Pump with Low Suction is a compact submersible circulation pump designed specifically for AquaGarden mini ponds and small container water features housing fish. The low-suction intake design produces gentle water movement at the bottom of the container without creating strong currents that would stress small fish or pull fry and small goldfish into the intake.

Fish-Safe Circulation for Container Water Gardens

Standard submersible pumps generate intake suction that can trap or injure small pond fish, particularly in the confined volume of a container garden. The low-suction design on this pump reduces intake velocity substantially, allowing safe use in features with goldfish, koi fry, and small ornamental fish without protective intake cages. The compact footprint also leaves adequate swimming room in the limited container volume.

How to Use

Place the pump on the bottom of the container pond. Route the power cord over the rim to the nearest outdoor outlet. The pump runs continuously to maintain water circulation and oxygenation. Clean the intake screen every two to three weeks by removing the pump, rinsing the screen under fresh water, and reassembling. In freezing winter temperatures, remove the pump, dry it, and store indoors to prevent frost damage to the impeller housing.

Ideal for AquaGarden mini ponds, patio container water gardens with goldfish or small ornamental fish, and any small feature where low intake suction is required for fish safety.
