The Aquascape AquaJet 2000 (G2) Water Chamber Cover Kit is a factory replacement water chamber lid assembly for second-generation AquaJet 2000 submersible pond pumps. Designed for the larger AquaJet 2000 model, this kit restores the seal between the impeller chamber and motor section when the original cover becomes cracked, warped, or loses seating integrity after extended use.
Maintain Water Chamber Integrity in Higher-Output Pumps
The AquaJet 2000 G2 operates at higher flow rates than the 1300 model, meaning the impeller chamber is under greater internal pressure. A compromised water chamber cover under these conditions allows a pressure bypass that reduces effective head height and pump output. Replacing the cover with this OEM kit restores the pressure boundary and returns the pump to its rated 2,000 GPH (7,571 LPH) output.

How to Use
Unplug the pump and remove it from the water. Release the housing clips and open the pump body to access the water chamber. Remove the worn cover and O-ring. Clean the mating surfaces with a soft cloth. Install the new O-ring from the kit, ensuring it seats without twisting in the groove. Press the new water chamber cover onto the pump body and engage all retaining clips. Test in a water-filled bucket to verify no leakage at the cover seam before reinstalling in the pond.
