The Aquascape EcoWave 4000 is a high-output mag-drive submersible pond and waterfall pump rated at 4,000 GPH (15,141 LPH) and drawing only 130 watts. As the largest model in the EcoWave range, it provides substantial circulation capacity for large water gardens and waterfalls while maintaining the magnetic drive's inherent advantages of low noise, high efficiency, and long service life compared to conventional motor pump designs.

Professional-Level Flow With Residential Energy Consumption

Conventional pumps at the 4,000 GPH output level typically require 250 to 350 watts to operate. The EcoWave 4000's 130-watt draw delivers a meaningful reduction in annual operating cost, which for a continuously running pond pump translates to substantial savings over a full season. The maximum head height of 6.1 m (20 ft) provides the pressure needed for tall waterfall installations common in larger water garden designs.

How to Use

Install the EcoWave 4000 fully submerged in a pond skimmer or on the pond floor. Connect the 2-inch MPT discharge to the waterfall or biological filter plumbing using a compatible elbow and hose barb. Plug the 6 m cord into a GFCI-protected outdoor outlet. For waterfalls with heads above 4 m (13 ft), expect reduced flow at the outlet and confirm the resulting flow rate is sufficient for the waterfall weir width. Clean the intake screen every two to four weeks. In freezing climates, remove and store indoors over winter.

Ideal for large koi ponds and water gardens between 11,000 and 15,000 litres (3,000 to 4,000 gal) with waterfalls up to 5 m (16 ft) high, where quiet, energy-efficient circulation is important to the owner.
