The 32" diameter Fountain Bowl Media Net holds biological filter media inside your fountain bowl to keep water cleaner between maintenance sessions. It fits directly inside the 32" round Aquascape Fountain Bowl line, suspending bio-media in the water flow where bacteria can establish and process waste continuously.
How It Works
Beneficial bacteria grow on the surface of bio-media inside the net, converting ammonia and organic waste into less harmful compounds. The net positions the media in the pump's flow path so every litre of water circulating through the bowl passes through a biologically active zone. The result is fewer green-water episodes and longer intervals between full cleanings.

How to Use
Load the net with your choice of bio-media, tie the opening, and position it beneath the pump inside the bowl. Rinse in pond water (never tap) every 4 to 6 weeks to clear debris from the media surface without stripping the bacteria. Replace when the mesh material deteriorates.
