Standard pond pumps clog when you try to drain a pond at cleanout time because the water contains leaf sludge, fish waste, string algae, and gravel fines. The LSR Cleanout Pump's intake design passes solids that would block a typical impeller, so you can drain the pond completely without stopping to clear the intake repeatedly. Run it directly at the pond floor to draw from the lowest point.

How to Use
Place the pump at the lowest point of the pond or basin with the intake facing down. Connect the discharge to a garden hose or drain line routed away from the pond area. Start the pump and allow it to draw down until the intake lifts free of water. Move fish and remaining water to a holding container before the pond is fully drained. Rinse the pump with clean water after use and store for the following season.
