Aquascape Pond Sludge Remover Packs - 18 Packs

Enzymatic Sludge Remover Packs for Pond Floors and Filters

Aquascape Pond Sludge Remover Packs 18 packs contain a concentrated blend of beneficial bacteria and natural enzymes in water-soluble packets that dissolve in the pond and digest organic sludge on the pond floor, in biofilter chambers, and around surface skimmer baskets. Each pack activates on contact with pond water, delivering treatment directly to the point of application.

Reduce Sludge Accumulation Between Cleanouts

Organic sludge forms from leaf matter, fish waste, and algae die-off accumulating faster than natural bacteria can break it down. As sludge deepens, it releases ammonia and phosphate back into the water column and reduces effective pond depth. Monthly sludge remover treatment accelerates microbial digestion, reducing the accumulation rate and extending the interval between full pond cleanouts. Effective when water temperature exceeds 10°C (50°F).

Spec Value
Pack Contents 18 water-soluble treatment packs
Application Monthly during active season above 10°C (50°F)
Safe For Koi, goldfish, aquatic plants, pond wildlife
Active Season Spring through fall (above 10°C / 50°F)

How to Use

Apply one pack per 1,000 gal (3,785 L) of pond water monthly, or as directed on the product label. Drop the pack near the pond's skimmer intake or heaviest sludge accumulation zone for best results. Do not apply when water temperature is below 10°C (50°F) as bacterial activity is suppressed below this threshold. Use at the start of the season as part of the spring startup routine to address sludge accumulated over winter.

Ideal for backyard koi ponds and water gardens where sludge accumulation is an ongoing challenge and monthly enzymatic treatment extends the time between full cleanouts and reduces nutrient loading from the pond floor.
