High-Output SLD 9000 Mag-Drive Pump With Electronic Speed Control
The Aquascape SLD 9000 Pond Pump delivers up to 9,000 GPH (34,065 LPH) from a mag-drive motor with an electronic controller that adjusts flow rate without throttling valves. It suits large koi ponds, high-head waterfalls, and large-scale pondless waterfall systems where fixed-speed pumps cannot match the range of performance conditions.
Electronic Control Across a Wide Flow Range
Mechanical flow restriction reduces pump efficiency and increases wear. The SLD 9000's electronic speed controller dials flow rate from a low setting up to full 9,000 GPH without any throttling valve, so the pump always operates at the efficiency point for the selected speed. That means lower operating costs at partial flow and a longer service life than mechanically restricted alternatives at the same output level.

How to Use
Submerge the pump in the pond or waterfall vault. Connect discharge to your waterfall or filter system. Use the electronic controller to set the flow rate appropriate for the current season and pond load. Reduce flow in cooler water (below 10°C/50°F) to reduce stress on cold-water fish. Clean the intake screen every 4 to 6 weeks during the season.
Ideal for large koi ponds over 5,000 gal (18,925 L), high-head waterfalls requiring sustained flow above 6,000 GPH, and large pondless waterfall installations where adjustable output is needed to manage flow across different seasons and conditions.
