Versatile Scale for Garden Features
The 24-inch height creates a presence without overwhelming the surrounding planting — well-proportioned for most residential garden bed and patio water feature settings. Water welling up and sheeting down the 24-inch column creates a continuous, pleasing sound level at normal MD-series pump flow rates. The natural basalt surface develops a progressively richer, darker appearance as the stone absorbs moisture continuously throughout the pond season, deepening from a dry grey-brown to a rich, nearly black wet finish when the water is flowing.

How to Install
Set on a stable, level base in your fountain basin or over an Eco-Blox system. Thread supply tubing from the pump up through the pre-drilled core. Set pump flow for the desired water effect — moderate flow creates an even sheeting effect down the column sides. Combine with the 18-inch and 30-inch columns for a naturalistic grouping. Adjust column positioning so each stone's water sheet returns to the basin without overflow. Chemically inert and safe for koi and aquatic life.
