The Atlantic Water Gardens Biopress 1000 replacement bucket is the main filter body housing for the Oase Biopress 1000 pressurised pond filter. If the filter housing cracks from freeze-thaw stress or physical impact, replacing the bucket assembly restores the filter to full service without purchasing a complete new filter unit. The bucket contains the media chambers and forms the pressure vessel of the Biopress 1000 system.
When to Replace the Bucket
Pressure filters like the Biopress 1000 depend on the housing remaining watertight under operating pressure. A hairline crack in the bucket from ice expansion during a Canadian winter will cause the filter to lose pressure and reduce flow through the UV clarifier. How to Replace
Disconnect the Biopress 1000 from all plumbing and power. Remove the lid and media. Transfer usable media and the UV assembly to the new bucket. Reassemble with existing lid, clamps, and seals — replace any seals that show compression set or damage. Reconnect plumbing and test for leaks at all connection points under operating pressure before returning to service.
