Fountain Basin Filter for Medium & Large Basins
The Atlantic Water Gardens CFBasin24/36 replacement filter is the OEM filter cartridge for both the CFBasin24 and CFBasin36 fountain basins. Sized appropriately for these mid and large basin volumes, this filter captures debris, fine particulate, and biological matter before it accumulates on the pump screen — maintaining cleaner water quality, longer pump service intervals, and better recirculation efficiency. It is one of the most cost-effective maintenance consumables for any CFBasin24 or CFBasin36 installation.
Filter Function
The filter cartridge slots into the dedicated filter position inside the basin housing. As the pump draws water through the filter, fine debris and particulate are captured in the filter medium rather than passing through to the pump impeller. This extends pump life and maintains cleaner water appearance in visible basin installations. The filter should be rinsed periodically (not with chlorinated tap water — use pond water) and replaced seasonally or when flow restriction is noticeable.
Compatibility Note
This filter fits both the CFBasin24 and CFBasin36 — the same cartridge is used across both basin sizes. It is not compatible with the smaller CFBasin12, which uses its own unique filter. Confirm your basin model number before ordering.
