1/2" ID Tubing Adapter
The Atlantic Water Gardens fountain pump 525 1/2-inch inner diameter tubing adapter connects the output port of the Oase 525 Fountain Pump to 1/2-inch internal diameter flexible tubing or rigid pipe. The correct tubing adapter is essential for an efficient, leak-free connection between the pump and the display element or distribution manifold — a mismatched adapter size causes either a loose, leaking joint or a forced fit that stresses the pump outlet port and tubing wall.
Adapter Selection
The Oase 525 pump outlet is compatible with three tubing adapter sizes: 1/2-inch, 5/8-inch, and 3/4-inch inner diameter. Select the adapter that matches the inner diameter of the tubing or fittings in your installation. For most single-outlet urn and vase fountain installations, 1/2-inch ID tubing is the standard choice. For higher-flow multi-outlet configurations, the 3/4-inch adapter reduces head loss at the pump outlet.
Installation
The adapter presses or twists onto the 525 pump outlet port and is secured by the retention mechanism on the pump outlet housing. Match the adapter's outer dimension to the inner diameter of the tubing being connected, and secure with a hose clamp for a permanent watertight joint.
