1/2 HP Floating Fountain
The Atlantic Water Gardens light cord extension for the 1/2 HP floating fountain extends the light cord reach from the 1/2 HP floating fountain pump to the shore-side power connection or LED light set position. Larger ponds typically centre the 1/2 HP fountain farther from the shoreline for the best visual balance — this extension makes it practical to position the fountain at the ideal location without being constrained by the native light cord length.
Why It's Needed
The 1/2 HP floating fountain is designed for ponds significantly larger than the 1/4 HP model's typical applications — often 500 square feet to over an acre. At these scales, the distance from the ideal fountain position to the nearest safe shore power connection can easily exceed the standard light cord length. This extension eliminates the constraint without requiring an external electrician or alternative wiring approach.
Compatibility
This extension is terminated specifically for the 1/2 HP floating fountain light cord. It is not interchangeable with the 1/4 HP model extension. The connector maintains a watertight, UV-resistant join between the pump cord and the extension section.
