The Atlantic Water Gardens pump vault extension adds height to either the PV7500 pump vault or PV15000 pump vault, allowing the complete vault assembly to span deeper basin installations without the pump sitting at the very bottom of a deep reservoir. When a pondless waterfall or stream basin needs to be excavated deeper than the standard vault height allows, the extension closes the gap between the vault base and the reservoir bottom, maintaining proper water draw levels while providing the full service-access benefits of the vault system.

When You Need the Extension

In typical shallow basin installations, the standard vault height is sufficient to position the pump at an effective depth. In deeper basins — particularly those designed to hold larger water volumes for drought resistance, or basins in colder climates dug below the frost line — the extension brings the vault assembly up to the required depth without compromising the pump's access from above.

Installation

The extension connects between the vault base and the existing pump vault body using the matched connection geometry common to both PV7500 and PV15000 vaults. No additional tools or adhesives are required for a secure fit in most installations.
