Replacement Intake Filter for TidalWave2
The Atlantic Water Gardens Waterfall Pump 1650/2300 screen is a direct-fit replacement intake filter for the TidalWave2 series pumps in the 1,650–2,300 GPH (6,246–8,706 LPH) range, including the TidalWave2 TW1900. This screen protects the impeller from leaves, gravel, and pond debris that would otherwise cause mechanical damage and flow loss.
Keep Intake Debris Out
The intake screen on a waterfall pump is the front line of impeller protection. TidalWave2 screens are UV-stabilised polymer, but after two or three Canadian seasons of freeze-thaw cycling and algae growth, they can become brittle and cracked. A cracked screen allows gravel and fibrous debris to enter the impeller chamber — the most preventable cause of pump failure. Replace annually or whenever the screen shows cracking, warping, or fouling that cannot be cleaned.

How to Install
Remove the pump from the pond and disconnect power. Unclip the old screen from the pump body and snap the replacement into place. Ensure all retention clips are fully seated. Return the pump to service and confirm normal flow. Clean the new screen weekly during high-debris seasons such as autumn leaf fall.
