Cold-Season Pond Clarifier for Large Ponds and Small Lakes
ClearLake Cold Water Clarifier uses bacterial strains that remain active below 10°C (50°F), targeting the suspended particles and sediment that build up in fall and winter when warmer-water bacteria go dormant. The 24 lb bulk pail covers large ponds or provides a full-year supply for medium systems, including both fall cleanup and spring restart applications.
Season-Long Coverage for Larger Water Bodies
At standard application rates, 24 lbs provides initial treatment for approximately 4 acres plus eight to ten maintenance applications through the cold season. Bulk purchasing reduces per-pound cost for pond managers treating large volumes or running multiple treatment sites. The bacteria stay effective at temperatures standard treatments cannot handle, keeping water clearer through freeze-over and reducing the organic load that causes poor spring water quality.

How to Use
Apply when water temperatures fall below 10°C (50°F) in fall. Broadcast granules across the surface, concentrating near high-debris areas. Treat every two weeks through the cold season. Continue into spring until water stabilizes and warm-water beneficial bacteria re-establish. Clear water typically appears within two to three weeks of the first application.
Ideal for small lakes, large stormwater ponds, and koi installations from 1 to 4 acres requiring cold-season biological maintenance.
