Clearlake Muck Eliminator (wsb) - 24 Lb

Large-Volume Broadcast Muck Control for Ponds and Small Lakes

ClearLake Muck Eliminator water-soluble bags provide full-pond broadcast coverage without the handling issues of loose granules. Each bag dissolves on contact, releasing beneficial bacteria evenly into the water column for distribution across the entire pond floor. The 24 lb pail covers large treatment programs: an initial shock dose plus a full season of biweekly maintenance for ponds up to 2 acres.

Bulk Coverage for Larger Systems

Larger ponds accumulate muck faster than smaller residential features, especially those with fish populations, waterfowl, or significant leaf and debris input. With 24 lbs available, pond managers can execute a 6 lb per acre initial dose on a 2-acre pond and still have 12 lbs remaining for maintenance applications. The water-soluble bag format makes distribution consistent and easy from a dock or boat.

Coverage Up to 4 acres (approx. 1.3 million gal / 5 million L)
Application Rate 6 lbs per acre initial; 2 to 3 lbs per acre every two weeks
Format Water-soluble bags
Weight 24 lb (10.9 kg)
Muck Reduction Up to 6 inches annually with consistent use
Safe For Fish, aquatic plants, wildlife

How to Use

Begin in spring when water reaches 10°C (50°F). Apply initial treatment at 6 lbs per acre by tossing bags across the full pond surface. Continue biweekly maintenance at 2 to 3 lbs per acre through fall. Supplement with aeration for faster bacterial activity on heavily loaded ponds. Measurable muck depth reduction typically appears within one full season of consistent treatment.

Ideal for farm ponds, small lakes, and larger stormwater features from 1 to 4 acres requiring whole-pond muck elimination programs.
