This metric 38 mm kink free pond tubing delivers 100 ft (30.5 m) of flexible black tubing for larger metric-plumbed ponds, waterfalls, and filter systems. The 38 mm connection is standard on many high-flow European-built pumps and pressure filters, including Oase equipment. The smooth bore keeps head loss low at waterfall flow rates, and the spiral ribbed wall resists crushing where the line passes under boulders and backfill.
Metric Sizing Matters for a Leak-Free Seal
At higher flows, a sloppy fit between a metric 38 mm tail and nominal 1-1/2" (38.1 mm) North American tubing shows up as weeping joints and lost pressure. This metric version seats snugly so each clamped joint stays dry. If your plumbing is built on standard North American barbed fittings, choose our standard 1-1/2" kink free hose instead. Rated from -26°C to 88°C (-15°F to 190°F), it stays flexible for spring installs and fall shutdowns alike.

How to Use
Cut squarely, soften the end in hot water, and drive it fully onto the 38 mm barbed fitting. Secure each connection with stainless steel hose clamps, two per joint on high-flow runs for extra security.
Ideal for larger metric-plumbed waterfalls, streams, and filter systems running pumps up to about 3,000 GPH (11,356 LPH).
