The 4" x 13" Filter Brush is a simple and effective solution for mechanical and biological filtration in koi ponds, water gardens, and custom pond filtration systems. Dense filter bristles help capture suspended debris, fish waste, leaves, and other solids while allowing excellent water flow through the filter.

Ideal for DIY pond filters, settlement chambers, filter boxes, and custom koi pond filtration systems, Matala filter brushes can be installed individually or arranged in multiple rows to create an effective mechanical pre-filter. The large bristle surface area also provides additional space for beneficial bacteria to colonize, contributing to biological filtration.

The integrated hanging loop makes the brush easy to suspend from a support bar and remove for cleaning.
