Spacer Arm for Proper Foam Alignment in FiltoClear Filters
The Oase FiltoClear 3400 / 5200 / 8200 (gen 3) foam plate spacer arm holds the foam plate at the correct height and angle within the filter chamber. If a spacer arm bends or breaks, the foam plate tilts, creating uneven water distribution and partial media bypass that degrades filtration performance.
Maintains Filter Geometry
The spacer arm works in conjunction with the foam plate and distribution plate to create the engineered flow path that Oase designed for optimal particle capture and biological contact time. A single broken arm is enough to compromise the entire geometry. Replace damaged arms promptly to restore proper alignment.

Installation
Open the filter housing, remove the foam media and plate, and detach the broken spacer arm. Snap or screw the replacement into the same mounting point. Reassemble the foam plate, media, and housing. Verify the plate sits level before pressurising the filter.
Ideal for FiltoClear gen 3 maintenance when the foam plate does not sit flat or when you notice uneven foam wear patterns.
