Backflow Prevention Valve for PondoVac 5 Discharge System
The Oase PondoVac 5 discharge pump check valve prevents dirty water from flowing backward into the vacuum tank when the discharge pump cycles off. Without a functioning check valve, water reverses direction during pump pauses, reducing discharge efficiency and potentially flooding the collection area.
Continuous Forward Flow
The PondoVac 5's dual-pump design relies on the check valve to maintain one-way flow in the discharge line. A stuck or failed valve causes the discharge pump to work harder, shortening its life and slowing the overall vacuuming process. Replace the valve if you notice water surging back when the pump pauses.

Installation
Disconnect the discharge hose from the pump outlet. Remove the old check valve and inspect the seat for debris. Install the new valve with the flow arrow pointing away from the tank. Reconnect the hose and test by running the discharge pump. Water should flow out and not return when the pump stops.
Ideal for PondoVac 5 owners who notice water surging back into the tank during discharge pump pauses.
