The Oase PondoVac Classic / XPV / 2 / 3 gravel nozzle (part 33480) features a wide, slotted mouth that suctions sludge and fine debris from between gravel stones without picking up the gravel itself. Standard flat nozzles either skip over the debris trapped in gravel or suck up stones along with it — the gravel nozzle solves both problems.
Selective Debris Removal
The nozzle's slot geometry allows water and fine particles to pass through while rejecting larger gravel pieces. This lets you clean a gravel-bottomed pond without constantly unclogging the hose or losing decorative stone. Use slow, overlapping passes for the best results on heavily soiled gravel beds.

Usage
Attach the gravel nozzle to the suction hose and lower it to the pond bottom. Move the nozzle slowly across the gravel surface, allowing suction to pull silt up through the slots. Avoid pressing too hard — let the vacuum do the work. Rinse the nozzle after each use to prevent debris from drying in the slots.
Ideal for ponds with gravel or river-rock bottoms where sludge accumulates between stones.
