Installation
Drain the filter before replacing the waste fitting. Remove the old fitting and clean threads in the filter housing port. Apply thread sealant tape to the new fitting's threads before installation. Hand-thread in, then tighten firmly but carefully to avoid cracking the housing. Connect the backwash discharge hose and test with a full backwash cycle before returning the filter to service.
