How to Use
Remove the existing pad and rinse the new one in pond water before inserting. During heavy debris periods, spring leaf drop, peak summer feeding, check the coarse pad weekly and rinse or replace as needed. When the pad no longer returns to near-original thickness after rinsing, replace it. Never rinse filter pads in tap water, as chlorine kills beneficial bacteria that colonize the media over time.
Fits the Pondmaster PM500 pressurized filter only. Keep a second set on hand so filter maintenance does not interrupt pond filtration for more than a few minutes.
