Pondmaster Hydro-Air Combination Water and Air Pump
Small ponds often have one electrical outlet to work with. The Pondmaster Hydro-Air runs both water circulation and aeration through a single unit on a single power connection, eliminating the need for a separate submersible pump and air pump. It moves water for fountain or filter return while simultaneously injecting air into the water column for dissolved oxygen support.
Dual Function on One Connection
Combining water and air delivery in one unit simplifies setup in small water features, container ponds, and indoor displays where space and outlets are limited. The air injection also improves the pump's ability to support fish by maintaining dissolved oxygen at safe levels during warm summer nights, when oxygen demand peaks and natural surface exchange is reduced.
| Functions | Water circulation + air injection (combined) |
|---|---|
| Best For | Small ponds, container water gardens, indoor features |
| Power Connections | Single cord |
| Safe For | Fish, aquatic plants |
How to Use
Submerge the pump at the deepest point in the feature. Connect the air tubing to the air outlet port and route it to a diffuser stone or the fountain nozzle fitting. Plug in and adjust the flow control if included. Clean the intake screen every two to four weeks to prevent flow restriction. In winter, run only if the water temperature stays above 4°C (40°F).
Ideal for container water gardens, small ornamental features under 200 gal (750 L), tabletop ponds, and indoor water displays where a single-unit, single-outlet solution is needed.
