Replacement 36-Watt Quartz Sleeve for Pondmaster ClearGuard UV Clarifiers
The quartz sleeve transmits UV light from the bulb into the water while keeping the bulb dry. On a 36-watt ClearGuard clarifier, a clouded or cracked sleeve sharply reduces UV energy reaching suspended algae, causing green water to persist even when the bulb and unit are otherwise functional. This replacement restores full UV transmission for large-pond ClearGuard UV systems.

How to Use
Shut off and unplug the ClearGuard unit. Depressurize and disassemble the UV chamber per the unit manual. Remove the old sleeve carefully, broken quartz is sharp. Inspect O-rings and seals and replace if showing wear. Seat the new sleeve and reassemble the chamber, ensuring all seals are properly positioned. Power on and verify the bulb illuminates correctly through the sleeve. Replace annually regardless of visible condition for consistent UV output.
