The PondMax Replacement Complete Lid Assembly restores the top housing on a PondMax PF4800 Pressure Filter after cracking, UV degradation, or a failed backwash indicator. The lid assembly includes the moulded housing along with its integrated seal surface, so it replaces the entire top section as a single unit.
Restores a Full Pressure Seal
The lid on a pressure filter carries the full operating pressure of the system and must seal evenly around its full circumference against the tank body. Years of Canadian freeze-thaw cycling and UV exposure can warp the moulded plastic or crack the clamp channel, leading to leaks around the lid even with a fresh O-ring installed. How to Use
Drain the filter fully and release the lid clamp before removing the old lid. Clean the tank rim of any debris or old sealant residue. Fit the new lid with a fresh O-ring seated evenly in its groove, then reinstall and tighten the lid clamp evenly around the full circumference before repressurizing.
