Pressurised Filtration with Built-In UV for Small Ponds Up to 500 Gallons
The ProEco CPF-0500 combines mechanical filtration and a 9-watt UV clarifier in a compact pressurised canister sized for garden ponds and water features up to 500 gallons (1,893 L). Pressurised operation means the filter can be buried or positioned below the water surface, useful for keeping equipment out of sight. The integrated UV clarifier flocculates free-floating algae particles as water passes through, allowing the filter media to capture them on the next pass for consistently clear water.
Easy-Clean Backwash
The CPF-0500 uses a valve-based backwash system, turning the handle reverses flow through the media to flush accumulated debris to waste without opening the canister or getting your hands dirty. Annual UV bulb replacement (9W, T5 style) is the only routine maintenance required beyond backwashing.

Maintenance note: Replace the UV bulb at the start of each pond season regardless of visible output, UV intensity degrades significantly before the bulb fails completely. Replacement bulbs are stocked separately.
