Protect Your Burner Investment
Fire pit covers aren't optional, they're essential maintenance. This Warming Trends brushed aluminum cover shields your burner, gas lines, and decorative media from rain, leaves, debris, and UV damage. Aluminum resists rust and corrosion, remaining attractive and functional for decades. The 32 inch cover fits 30 inch diameter burn openings with a 1 inch overlap on all sides to maximize water shedding and debris protection.
Design Features
Brushed aluminum finish resists fingerprints and maintains a sophisticated appearance. A single integrated handle makes it easy to remove the cover for access or to store it safely during the season. The cover is lightweight enough for one person to handle yet rigid enough to resist wind and support light snow load in temperate climates.
Sizing Guide
| Burn Area Diameter | Recommended Cover Size | Handle Count |
|---|---|---|
| 20–22 inches | 24 inch cover | 1 handle |
| 28–30 inches | 32 inch cover | 1 handle |
| 34–36 inches | 38 inch cover | 2 handles |
Installation & Care
Position the cover over your burn area after the burner has cooled completely (at least 1 hour after shutdown). Ensure the cover sits flat and fully over the opening, uneven positioning can trap heat and moisture. For winter storage, clean debris from the cover surface and store indoors or under a tarp.
Why Size Matters
A too-small cover leaves gaps where rain and debris enter. A too-large cover may catch wind and lift away. The 2 inch overlap recommendation ensures maximum water shedding while keeping weight reasonable.
