Complete Natural Gas Ignition Kit with Valve Control

The Warming Trends push-button ignition kit integrates ignition control with a 1/2 inch key valve for manual gas flow adjustment. This all-in-one package includes the push-button spark ignitor, manual shutoff valve, street elbow connectors for flexible gas line routing, and all necessary wiring. Ideal for fire features where you want both automatic ignition and user-friendly manual flame control.

Kit Components

Push Button Ignitor: High-voltage spark trigger with safety shutoff. 1/2 inch Key Valve: Manual gas shutoff (turn-key control). Street Elbows: 90-degree connectors for flexible gas line routing around obstacles. Wiring/Fasteners: All electrical and mechanical hardware for complete installation.

Functionality

Press the button to ignite your burner. Once lit, use the key valve to adjust flame height, turn the key clockwise to reduce gas flow and lower flames, counterclockwise to increase gas and brighten flames. The combination gives you automatic ignition convenience plus manual flame control precision.

Installation Process

Install the 1/2 inch key valve between your gas line and burner inlet. Connect street elbows as needed to route the line cleanly around landscaping or structural elements. Mount the push button ignitor near your burner, typically on the fire pit rim or control console. Connect ignitor wires to the spark electrode and ground. Test gas flow and ignition before final assembly.

Gas Line Sizing

The 1/2 inch valve accommodates most residential fire feature gas consumption (up to 100,000 BTU typical). Confirm your burner's BTU rating and consult local gas code before installation.

Safety Considerations

All gas connections should meet local building and gas codes. Consider hiring a licensed gas technician for final hookup to ensure safety and code compliance.
