Structural Foam Support for Large Biotec External Filters
The Oase Biotec 18–36 / 18000 / 32000 foam holder positions the mechanical filter foam inside the chamber at the correct height and angle for uniform water flow. If the holder warps or cracks, the foam shifts and water bypasses the media — sending unfiltered water back to the pond and reducing clarity.
Maintains Filtration Geometry
Each holder is moulded to match the internal dimensions of the Biotec filter chamber. The correct seating depth ensures water passes through the full foam thickness rather than finding a path of least resistance around the edges. Replacing a worn holder is far cheaper than dealing with the water-quality consequences of foam bypass.

Installation
Open the filter lid and remove the existing foam and holder assembly. Separate the foam from the damaged holder, seat it into the new one, and lower the assembly back into the chamber. Confirm the holder locks into position before closing the lid. Clean the foam with pond water while you have it out.
