Phosphate-Reducing Filter Media for Algae Prevention
The Oase Biotec 18–36 / 18000 / 32000 Phosless media (pack of two) removes dissolved phosphates from pond water before they can fuel algae blooms. Phosphate is the nutrient most commonly responsible for green water and string algae in established ponds — reducing it at the filter level is far more effective than treating algae after it appears.
Proactive Algae Control
Each Phosless sachet binds phosphate molecules as water passes through the filter, locking them out of the nutrient cycle. The result is measurably lower phosphate levels and noticeably less algae growth, especially during the warm summer months when algae activity peaks. The sachets last approximately four to six weeks depending on phosphate load.

How to Use
Place both sachets inside the Biotec filter chamber where water flows through them continuously. Replace when phosphate test readings begin to climb or when the sachets have been in service for six weeks. Test pond water phosphate levels monthly during the active season to determine your replacement schedule.
Ideal for ponds with persistent algae problems, heavy fish stocking, or nutrient-rich source water.
