Drain-Valve Control Rod for Screenmatic Filters
The Oase Screenmatic 18000 / 24000 sludge drain pull rod is the mechanical linkage that opens the drain valve at the bottom of the filter to flush accumulated sludge. A bent, stuck, or broken pull rod leaves the drain valve inoperable — meaning you cannot clear sludge without disassembling the filter.
Restore One-Pull Drain Function
The pull rod is designed for simple operation — one pull opens the valve, one push closes it. Over time, mineral deposits and biological growth can seize the rod in its sleeve, or impacts during maintenance can bend it. A replacement rod restores smooth, reliable drain control.

Installation
Drain the filter and access the pull-rod mechanism from the outside. Remove the old rod by sliding it out of the guide sleeve. Insert the new rod, connect it to the drain valve linkage, and test the open/close action several times. Apply a thin coat of silicone lubricant to the sleeve if the rod does not move freely.
Ideal for Biotec Screenmatic 18000 and 24000 owners whose sludge drain has become stuck or unresponsive.
